Campus Cutie at the midtown office today. I purchased her and a few pals at Uncle Fun about, gee... over ten years ago? Yeesh. Anyway, today I am finishing inking my GREEN ARROW/BLACK CANARY WEDDING contribution. While listening to the Rolling Stones' Forty Licks.

I'm not one to go in for digital art. Personally, it just feels like a strange disconnect in my work... I like to feel that sexy drag of pencil or ink onto paper.

However, I just received Alias SketchBook Pro and played with it for a few minutes and was astonished by how nice and fun it was. I'd been having a series of ideas run through my mind recently and it took no time to quickly doodle one.

I'm not giving up my pens and brushes just yet, but I'll definitely add this little app to my arsenal.

This is my work-in-progress desk at the midtown office I share with John Kuramoto. This desk serves as mission control for all the various projects. jobs, and modes I work in. Laptop handy for email and internet, file folders for administration work, comic pages that need to be inked, etc.
